Abrio File Opener
Note: Requires OpenPolScope version 2.19b (10-01-2014) or above.
Abrio files (.pli & .bkg) can be opened via ImageJ as hyperstacks or via Pol-Analyzer as Micro-Manager datasets. Re-processing is not possible in either case since the raw images are not saved with the Sample and only computed images are available. Importing via Pol-Analyzer provides the advantage of analysis features by displaying the retardance value and orientation information.
Pol-Analyzer:Set up Pol-Analyzer with a valid User and Session. Click on the button "Convert Non Micro-Manager PolStack to MMgr Dataset". Select the Abrio file that needs to be opened. Alternately, a file can be dragged & dropped on to this button to Convert as well.

An Abrio file should consist of a Retardance and Orientation (Azimuth) image. Please note the Orientation image histogram is re-scaled for OpenPolScope convention to represent angle information. The image metadata from the Abrio file is added as a readable string object to image metadata in Micro-Manager.

ImageJ:
Navigate to Plugins > OpenPolScope and click on "Abrio File Opener"

Select the Abrio file (.pli or .bkg)

The Abrio image will be displayed as an ImageJ hyperstack

To view metadata information, the Abrio image needs to be opened first and selected. Navigate to Plugins > OpenPolScope and click on "Abrio File Metadata" and the stored metadata information will be displayed.
